An informal gathering of like minded souls join us on the heights above Worthing and help us welcome in the Spring Equinox.
The site is on the top of the hill and parking is available by the side of Highdowns Gardens accessed up Highdown Rise off the A259 travelling east.
We have some spare drums but please let us know if you would like to borrow one. Anyone welcome. Meetying in the car park at 13.00 ( subject to the weather )

Workshop will include meditation, working with the wheel of the year and the balance an equinox brings, art and craft etc. More details to follow.

As with other years we hide green envelopes in the trees for people to go find and this years winner is pictured above.
The walks are usually between three and four miles depending on the abilities of those attending. We always try to find the hidden paths away from the usual tried and tested walks
A very full workshop, facilitated by Annabell and Wendie. The morning saw discussions about Imbolc, Goddess Brigid and Bridie dolls. Being the time of year to plants seeds and plan, we literally planted seeds and with it our intentions. After we had finished our Brigid crosses, Linda Randal then facilitated the afternoon session by leading us all in creating our vision boards.
The day ended with a beautiful meditation and Imbolc ritual.
Workshop
A very successful workshop facilitated by Annabell and Karen. We took the morning to explore what The Sacred Feminine is to each of us and how that effects us on a day to day basis. We talked about what we can do to help us re-discover and open up our Inner Goddess and connect with Mother Earth.
We talked about the history of women and the re-emergence of feminine spirituality and Goddess.
Colours played a part in the day and how colours effect our lives. Dragonflies and Butterflies came into the day, and how we see ourselves re-discovering our Inner Goddess like a powerful dragonfly or a gentle butterfly.
The afternoon was spent creating something to take home with us to remember to focus on our connection and inner strength.
